Surface Sampling

According to USP standards, facilities must develop and implement an effective microbiological air and surface monitoring program. This program is designed to identify environmental quality trends, helping to maintain overall control of the sterile environment. It provides valuable insights into personnel operations within cleanrooms, the flow of materials and products from non-ISO to ISO spaces, the performance of engineering controls, and the effectiveness of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning routines.

On-Site Clean provides consistent and unbiased collection of surface samples from identified locations. We actively engage in discussions to confirm the sample locations, reviewing all “must” and “should” areas to best capture the facility’s workflow and risks.

Service includes

  • Use of sterile, irradiated, triple bagged TSA with neutralizers contact plates
  • Creation of a Surface Sample Map
  • Overnight shipping to an accredited ISO 17025 analytical lab
  • Organization and retention of collection records and final reports in a cloud-based portal
  • Quick resampling if needed based on actionable growth levels
  • Collection by trained and competent staff using Enverify Stratix Kits
